Abstract

In 2017, the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was amended by the article providing the liability for involving a minor in committing acts that pose a danger to the life of a minor.
While conducting the research, the author came to the conclusion that the analyzed crime encroaches on the relations that provide favorable conditions for both moral and physical development of minors.
The assessment of the additional element of a juvenile as a subject of crime regarding the corpus delicti consisting of involving a minor in the commission of the acts that pose a danger to his life, proposed in
the criminal law theory, is given. Four variants of the mental attitude of the victim to deviant behavior are identified: 1) minors are fully aware of the illegal nature of the actions and their danger to life;
2) minors are aware of the illegal nature of the actions, but not of their danger to life; 3) minors are aware of the danger of actions to life, but not of their unlawfulness; 4) neither the illegal nature of
actions nor their danger to life is realized by minors. The author of the article substantiates the need to expand the criminal procedure concept of the victim by giving such status to minors being involved
in deviant behavior.
